The Enquire tab and enquiry emails

Let buyers send an enquiry from the tour and have it emailed straight to the sales team.

Buyers can send an enquiry two ways: an Enquire tab they can open any time, and a short form on the loading screen before the tour starts. You can use either or both. Both are set in the brand kit.

Set it up

  1. Open the brand kit. In your project, choose Brand kit, then Enquiries in the sidebar.
  2. Add who gets them. Under Send enquiries to, enter up to three email addresses, separated by commas.
  3. Turn on the tab. Tick Enquire tab in the tour. Change Tab wording if you want something other than Enquire, such as Register interest.
  4. Ask before the tour (optional). Tick Ask for details before the tour to show a name, email and phone form on the loading screen. Tick Make it required if buyers must fill it in; otherwise they can press Skip.
  5. **Press Save.** If the tour is published, the live tour updates straight away.

Tip: if you turn on either form but leave Send enquiries to empty, enquiries are still saved and listed under Analytics, just not emailed.

What buyers see

The Enquire tab sits on the side of the tour and opens a short form: name, email, phone (optional) and their question (optional). They press Send enquiry. The room they were standing in is sent with it.

The loading screen form says Enter your details to start the tour and asks for name, email and phone (optional). They press Start the tour. It’s asked once per browser session, not every time they reload.

Both forms include a box, ticked by default: I’m happy for the sales team to contact me about this project.

The email

Each enquiry is emailed to every address under Send enquiries to, with the subject Enquiry: and the tour name. It lists the buyer’s name, email, phone, the room they were looking at and their message, and whether they ticked the contact box. Reply to the email to answer the buyer directly.
