Levels and floor buttons
Name each floor so buyers can switch between them in the 3D plan.
When a home has more than one floor, the 3D plan shows a button for each level. Buyers tap one to see that floor on its own.
How levels are found
ArchviewVR works out the levels when it reads your folder, from the height of your cameras. Renders at about the same height go on the same level. A render well between two floors, such as one on the stairs, doesn’t belong to either.
Levels are named Ground, Level 1, Level 2 and so on until you change them.
Name your levels
- Open Levels. In your project, go to Set up tour, then Levels.
- Check each one. Each level shows its camera height and how many renders are on it, for example 1.6 m camera height · 9 renders.
- Type a name. Use whatever buyers would understand: Ground floor, Upstairs, Basement, Rooftop. Leave a box empty to go back to the default name.
- Save. Press Save at the top right.
If the project has one level, you see This project has one level. Names show when there’s more than one.
Floor buttons in the tour
The floor buttons only appear in the 3D plan, and only when there are two or more levels. To hide them, untick Floor buttons in the 3D plan in Tour options.
Tip: if a level shows far fewer renders than you expect, some cameras may be at a different height from the rest. Check their height in 3ds Max. See Placing and naming cameras.
Level names are kept when you replace renders, as long as the number of levels stays the same.
