Loading screen, video loop and Explore button
Set the title, tagline and background buyers see while the tour loads, and choose whether they press Explore to start.
Where to find it
Open the project, choose Brand kit in the sidebar, then Loading screen. Set the preview to Loading screen to see it as buyers do. Press Save at the top of the page when you’re done.
The loading screen shows your logo, a title, an optional tagline and the loading bar, over the background you choose.
Title and tagline
- Title. Leave it empty to use the project name, or type something else.
- Tagline. Optional. A short line of up to 90 characters, like an address or opening hours.
Background
| Option | What buyers see |
|---|---|
| Plain | The theme colour, no picture. |
| A render | One of the project’s renders. The first ten are offered, labelled by room or name. |
| Picture | A picture you upload. It’s resized to 2560 pixels wide. |
| Video loop | A video you upload, playing muted on a loop. |
Add a video loop
- Make it short. A 10 to 20 second loop is plenty.
- Check the file. It needs to be MP4 or WebM, under 25 MB.
- Upload it. Press Video loop and pick the file. Wait for “Video uploaded. Save to use it.”
- Save. Press Save at the top of the page.
Warning: the video plays on buyers’ phones too. A big file makes the loading screen slow to appear on mobile data.
The Explore button
Turn on Explore button to keep buyers on the loading screen until everything has loaded and they press Explore. The tour then fades in slowly. With it off, the tour fades in as soon as it’s ready.
It works well with a video loop or a strong render, so buyers get a moment with the picture before they start.
The Explore button isn’t shown in kiosk mode, which starts playing by itself.
Asking for details
You can also ask buyers for their name, email and phone on the loading screen before the tour starts. That’s set under Enquiries on the same page. See The Enquire tab and enquiry emails.
